Ok, here's a few Bunny pictures for those of you who wait for them. I probably shouldn't have let Puppy go in there because the odds of him leaving a few presents on Aaron's notebook were pretty good. Surprisingly, he left nothing. I guess he just wanted to explore. Bunnies sure are curious.

In this pic, I believe Aaron is hoping that Puppy will lick his face like Browny does. The only thing he got from that rabbit is a surprise or a nibble. I've learned that I can't expect them both to be the best bunnies. We've got one good bunny and one bad bunny. That's pretty normal though.

Decoration

Today was the day. We decorated our apartment. First, we went to Wal-Mart and bought everything that had to do with Christmas. Next, we bought groceries. Tons of groceries. Things that we didn't need. Isn't that how it always is when you shop at Wal-Mart?

I'm not sure why but I'm always excited to decorate. I think maybe it has to do with the fact that it's our first apartment. I want to make it look cute. We still need stuff. But, hey, that's ok.

We even have a church, a house, and a giant blue snowman (thanks Grandma). What more could a girl ask for?

We've been trying to take a picture with the bunnies. There hasn't been any real good ones yet because Browny will not sit still. You'd think that of the two that Browny would better at this. He's not. Puppy just sat there the whole time. He didn't move. He didn't squirm. Browny, on the other hand, was having no part of this. I would catch him, set the camera, and sit down. He would scratch and just try to get out of my hold. He'd jump down and I'd have to catch him again. I think the longer this went on the worse it got. Finally, I gave up. Someday we'll get a cute picture with the bunnies. Someday...

From Good to Bad in 2.4 Seconds

So Browny has been really freaked out lately. Yesterday a board game fell in the closet and ever since Browny has been really skittish. He won't let us touch him or anything. In the pic on the left you can see that Puppy is licking Browny, a sign of comfort. How cute this is. But in the next instant he's chewing on a cord. Bad little Puppy! Still cute, but bad. Why does he have to be bad? At least we have one good bunny.

Bad Puppy! Bad!

How can one cute, furry, floppy-eared bunny be so naughty?

I'm trying, I really am. It took less than two days for Browny to be litterbox trained. Why is it taking Puppy so much longer? I swear, I must have picked out the dumbest bunny there was. Not only does he pee and poop everywhere he's taken a liking to chewing anything and everything.

I'm going to blame it on the fact that he's still a little bunny. Maybe when he grows up he'll know better. (Does anybody want a bunny?)

I found this music video awhile ago and thought it was pretty entertaining.

How To Make a Bunny Crabby

When we first got Puppy he had a bad smell, so we decided that he needed a bath. I've never given him a bath so I wasn't sure what to expect. Here are a few pictures from that experience.

Always make sure you look before you sit down, especially when you have stupid bunnies around.

(This may seem funny but at the time I thought for sure that I had killed Browny. He's alive but a little shaken up.)

THE STORY

One day I decided to go to the pet store with my friend Amber. (Warning: never go to the pet store with anyone who loves animals more than you. Bad idea.) I knew that I would be ok going to the pet store because the last time we were there the bunnies they had were ugly. I was wrong.
We walked into the pet store and immediately my eyes were drawn towards 7 cute Holland-Lop bunnies. I tried to focus on the fact that we were only there to get shells for Amber's crab. But I found myself asking the owner, "Is it ok for two rabbits to be together?" and "If I did get another rabbit would I have to get a bigger cage?"
After the game of twenty questions ended I turned around and my eyes locked with another. Those that say there is no love at first sight are wrong. I had fell in love with a bunny. I knew from that moment he had to be mine. There was one problem. Would I be turned down by my husband?
We left the pet store and I called Aaron. This was what I said, "Aaron, I was just at the pet store and they had the cutest bunny ever, can I get it?" (All this was said in about a second.) I'm not sure but I think his answer was, "Do what you have to do." I took that as a yes.

We went to my apartment, grabbed Browny and headed back to the pet store. I had to make sure that Browny would get along with the bunny that I chose. There was love at first sight on both ends.
Aaron and I decided to name the bunny "Buddy." Maybe we should have named him Puppy because Aaron says to him, "How come you're such a bad little puppy? You need to watch Browny and do the good things that he does. Why don't you like to cuddle like Browny does?"
THE END

Enemy

Here's a few more bunny stories for ya. I came into our guest room earlier this week to find that the bunny had made an enemy. Generally, Browny will sleep right next to the outside of his cage. But I had done some rearranging next to his cage and apparently put a stuffed tiger in his sleeping area. I walked into the room to find the bunny roughing up this tiger. He'd pull on his arms, chew on the tiger's neck, and just try to nudge it out of his space. My first thought was to move the tiger. But than I thought better of it. I got my camera instead.

I couldn't resist taking this picture this morning. Isn't he so cute? I left Browny in his cage all day and usually he gets upset and will chew on his cage but you can see that here he finally decided to sleep. It's cute to watch him when he's getting tired because he'll roll around in his bedding. That's normally how we get bedding all over the house. When I let him out of his cage he's covered in it and I try to just let him come out on his own. I really need to start brushing him off before he comes out though.

Apartment

I decided to post some pics of our apartment because I know some of you wonder what it looks like. Our apartment isn't that bad compared to some of the places that we looked at. Hopefully, we'll have a house someday.

This little table is my favorite. I think we've eaten on it once. It looks so cute I never want to get it dirty.

Ok, these two candle sticks are on top of our tv stand. See how the one on the left isn't straight? It drives me crazy because it's NEVER straight. Everytime I look at it it's leaning to one side. I don't know what to do about it. This morning I even tried cutting part of the bottom of the candle because it was lumpy. Didn't work. I might just have to go buy a new candle.

Amazed

I was looking at my links and was amazed at how many people I know that blog. Family and friends! It's so amazing. Granted there are people that only blog once in awhile. I'm always like,"Come on people, post something new!"

Maybe it's just me. I'm pathetic, I know. I could probably blog something new everyday. I should really concentrate on other things like school and church. But this blog just keeps getting me. It could help that I always have cute bunny pictures and stories to tell....

Ok, so apparently for me, one blog isn't enough. I've had another blog at Xanga for awhile but I never use it. I decided today that I'll write there.

Truth Be Told

Ok, the truth must be told. Browny is getting fat. Now, I know some of you are thinking that it's perfect for him to get fat. Rabbits are better eating when fat. But that is not the case. I couldn't eat Browny. He's way to cute, even if he is fat.

We let him out of the cage most of the day so you'd think he'd get exercise. He doesn't. He'll run for a few minutes and than lay down. Or if he doesn't lay down he'll sit in one spot and try to pull the carpet up and chew it. Stupid.

You can tell in this pic that he's gained a little weight. Poor bunny. It's come to the point that when he's out of food in his cage (which is almost never) that he'll start eating his bedding. I guess I don't mind it too much because I know it doesn't hurt him. But it annoys me because I feel like I'm always putting more bedding in there. I've just decided to not put new bedding in there until I clean his cage. That should help the problem. I think.

I used to have his cage right up against the wall. But the last time I cleaned it I left 3 inches between the wall and the cage. Now for some reason Browny spends all his time there. I think he feels safe. The thing is I can easily pick the cage up with one hand and him with the other. It is funny to see though. The best thing to watch is when he gets hyper (he gets that way from Aaron giving him sugar) he'll run around the house. Sometimes he'll run behind the cage. One time I had accidently put his bag of food at one end of the cage. Browny didn't realize this. He ran straight into it. He didn't get hurt though. I'm beginning to think he never gets hurt. Unless maybe I stepped on him. That could hurt.
