What We Did Over Christmas Break...

We played a lot of cards when visiting with my side of the family. It's not a bad thing but I am a little sick of smear. At least we don't play for money anymore.

We played a lot of DDR, which is the newest way to work out. Well, not really, but you can work up a sweat with this game.

I took pictures of the Narnia lamp-post in our front yard while Aaron made Bob, the 10 foot snowman, with my cousin.

Puppy had his second snow, while Browny had his first. We were a little unsure whether we should bring Browny outside because we thought once he tasted freedom he would run. But he didnt.

I was really surprised to see this bunny butt. Normally, the bunnies are freaked out by the bathroom tile. I think it has to do with the fact that they can't really run on the tile. Very funny to watch.

Here you have the typical bunny cuddle. This is what they do all day, whether or not they're in the cage.
This is Puppy behind bars. I took this picture to show you what he does. I put hay in that round, cardboard, tube-like thing so that the hay is sticking out of it, thinking that it would be easy for the bunnies to get at. I guess it isn't. Puppy jumps on it, knocks it over, and pushes the hay all over the cage.

The Perks of a Job

A lady walks into Healthquest (fitness club that I work at) and says,"Do you have a key to my locker?"
Well, being that we have no keys because if they get a locker they provide their own locks, I said,"No." She said,"Are you sure? Can you check?"
And I was like," Ma'am we don't have keys to any lockers because we don't put the locks on them you do."
You would think that she would get it by now but she asked me to look and make sure. To humor her I told her I would look into it.
Same lady, two days later: "Umm, I think someone has been in my locker."
I said,"Well, I don't think that's possible. You have the only key." She says, "Well, I found these pair of shoes in my locker and they're not mine." I just looked at her. I was ready to freak. She picks up the shoes, looks at them real close, and says," Well, you know what? I think they are mine! I guess I forgot about them." I just smiled. All in a days work.

Things I Do Because I'm a Moron Too

It began at Target. I went there with some friends to buy a few things.

When we were all done looking around I got in line to pay for my things. Well, in front of me was a shopping cart full of stuff, but no one was with it. So, I stepped around the cart to pay for my stuff.

As I stepped around the cart a lady came back and stood with it. Apparently, she just went to the next isle to grab gum or something. Well, I know the polite thing to do would have been to step back and let her go since she was ahead of me. But I looked at her, shrugged my shoulders, and put my stuff down on the counter. The cashier looked at me, then the lady, and then back at me. I just gave the cashier a blank stare and she said, "Don't worry about it." I just smiled. I wasn't sure what to think. It was definetly an awkard situation. I figured that if people are going to leave their carts and walk away to get something, I'm going to just step around it and go.

I suppose cutting in line isn't the right thing to do.

When we first got Browny he smelled the carpet, checked out every corner, and ran around. After awhile he got used to that and the hours he spent out of his cage consisted of sleeping under tables. In short, he became lazy.
Than came Puppy.
When we got Puppy, Browny was like a new bunny. They smelled everything, chased each other, chewed and clawed at carpet (and they still do!). I figured this was great for the bunnies. They loved each other and got tons of exercise.
Well, that ended.
Now, they're both lazy, and getting fat. They sit under the tables, chew on the carpet and wires, Puppy poops everywhere (no pee though!), and if we're lucky once in a great while Browny will jump on the couch and visit us. Usually, he sees us and runs away.
Oh, and right now Puppy is as big as Browny. Maybe bigger.
I'm thinking that with Browny we got lucky, he didn't poop or pee, and he licked us. With Puppy we got the normal bad bunny that chews, eats, and claws at everything.

The Things That Christmas Makes Me Do..

Watch crappy and not-so-crappy Christmas Movies.

Drink a gallon of egg-nog a day.

Turn off all the lights in my house, plug in my Christmas decorations, and just sit there and stare at them.

Go to the mall in all of it's craziness and buy presents. Tons of presents.

Wrap up one of my favorite bunnies as a present.

Make and eat Christmas Cookies.

Drive around and look at all the Christmas lights.

Narnia Date

It comes out tomorrow. My excitement for this movie has been rising all week. Let there be no disappointment! I read that they may be making a second already (Prince Caspian?).

I read all the books this summer. Currently, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe is in my purse, waiting to be read again (hopefully before tomorrow).

I remember when I was younger, like 15 years younger, I believed that Narnia was real. I thought that if I stood long enough in the closet that I would disappear into another world. I never did though and I assumed that I was in the wrong closet. It's funny what you believe is real when you're young.

Aaron offered his Coke to Puppy, which isn't just anything, you know how Aaron is about Coke. Puppy looked at it, smelled it, and than knocked it over. He didn't want anything to do with it. Puppy just kept nudging it out of his spot. He'd roll it, nudge it, and continue with this process until it was out of his spot.

So Aaron would pick up the pop and put it back next to Puppy and the same thing would happen. Very amusing... (You can see how boring our lives our when we're taunting this poor bunny with a Coke.)

All Bundled Up

This is how Aaron looks each day as he prepares to walk to school. Reminds me of someone.

I finally got my ring back. I should have known it would take longer than they said it would. What do you expect with JCPenney's?

A few months ago, while working, I broke my ring. One of the prongs broke and the diamond fell out. Thank God I found the diamond! So, I brought it to JCPenney's and the lady said that I would take about a month. Well, three months later and I finally got it back. Yesterday, I called Penney's to see if it was in and this is what I was told, "Well, it's been in for awhile. I guess we should have called you." Hmm.. Ya think? At least they gave me back the right ring!

Game Pursuit

Last night we had about 20 people at our apartment. The bunnies were quite excited.

Aaron and I started off the night by going to buy the Trivial Pursuit Game. We went to Target first and found that it was too expensive. We decided to go to the dreaded Wal-Mart (I hate that place!). I was pleased though to find the game $15 cheaper at Wal-Mart. So we bought the game and some treats and went home.

People arrived and for the next 2 hours we played Trivial Pursuit. I can say that I enjoyed myself. Maybe it had to do with the fact that my team won! Yeah team! (Sorry, Aaron). Overall, it was a good night. Everyone ate all our candy, no one stepped on a bunny, and for once we were the loud neighbors (The people that live above us are loud ALL the time).

Browny was having none of this:

Happy December 1st! Only 24 more days to get those Christmas presents bought and wrapped*.

*No animals were harmed in the making of this picture. (There might be some sort of animal cruelty law against this though.)
