?

Are you a morning or night person?

I've been thinking about this question lately. Most people seem to know what they are. But I can't figure out what I am. Normally, I'm not up this late (it's now 2 am) but I had two cups of coffee earlier and I can't sleep, so I thought why not check a few blogs? I'm not opposed to getting up early though. I used to work at 6 every morning at my last job. I didn't really mind that.

Maybe I'm just a day person? Is there such a thing? Or maybe I'm both? Too many questions. I should probably just go to bed.

Nerd

On the way to the midnight showing of Star Wars Episode 3 some jerk decided to drive towards us on the highway. Apparently, he didn't notice that he was driving the wrong way. No one was hurt though, so that was a relief. It was scary, though, to see a car driving 70 mph and pass right by you, knowing that if you had been in that lane you probably wouldn't be here right now.

Anyways, the movie was alright. We went to Target to get some cheap candy and I got a call saying there was only 5 movie tickets left (and it happens that there were five of us). So we rushed out of Target and went to the theater. Luckily, someone had bought the rest of the tickets for us. Apparently, the theater had been selling tickets since 6:30 that evening and everyone had bought their tickets and left.

So we were the last ones to get our tickets and the first to be in line (well, there were a few nerds there before us but I think they had been there for days).

Episode 3

Tonight I am going with a few people to see Star Wars: Episode 3-Revenge of the Sith. The past few nights we have watched the first two: The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones. The movies were ok. I'm not really going to get into what I think about them because it's not a big deal. I'm just excited to go to the midnight showing of Episode 3. I think that it should be pretty good. At least that's what I've heard.

So, that's my life right now. That and looking for a job. And the wedding plans.

Last One For Awhile

So, this will probably be my last post for awhile because I am going home and I won't have access to a computer like I do here (well, there's a computer at home but it's really slow).

So yeah, that's it for now.

Premier Tonight

Tonight is the big night. At 8:00 Starting Tomorrow is going to be shown. I'm hoping that it's really good because I know the boy has been working on it with Drew all week and weekend.
I think it will be funny.

I see the boy has posted about this too. That's alright though. I need to post about something and right now this is the only thing going on. Ooh, besides it's Caribou Thursday!

Almost Over

Today was my last Nursing 1 Skills class. No more poking myself (and others) with needles, no more messing with IV's, and no more messing with the dummies in class. Yeah!

I have only three tests left and four more days of class. What a relief.

Than it's time to go back home to Hib-town and work full-time (ugh).

Chi Alpha

These are some pictures from Chi Alpha, the campus ministry I am involved with.

Painting

This weekend I went to a retreat at the Sand Hill Lake Bible Camp.

The camp managers told us that if we painted a few cabins we didn't have to pay for staying the weekend. As you can see from my picture, we painted.

I tried really hard for about 10 minutes to not get any paint on me but after that first drop fell I figured it was a waste of time. So every little bit of paint I got on my hands I just wiped on my shirt and pants.

While I was sitting in church this morning, Phil tried to pull a piece of fuzz out of my hair. It wasn't fuzz, it was paint. (And yes, I did shower after I got done painting)

The best part of painting is getting it all over yourself... and others.

Oh, and I learned to play ping pong! Yes!

"No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon." Matthew 6:24

This is what I did this weekend.
