LOST

When LOST started last year I watched the first few episodes. I thought,"Ah, it's alright." Well, this year Aaron and I have been watching it. The show is addicting. Every Wednesday night at 8 we're glued to the t.v. for an hour (basically, the only hour of tv I watch a week). It seems that the hour goes by so fast and we hardly learn anything new.

I like that we don't learn everything at once. Last night I was saying to Aaron,"Why can't I just know what happened on the island? I want to know what's so magical about it." His answer,"Now, Jill, you know if they told us what happened that would be the end of the show. Don't be so impatient." Me? Impatient? Ha! (No, it's true. I've very impatient.)

It seems that this show is the only thing worth watching. Does anybody know anything else that's worth watching?

*Plus, the show has Merry and the Livelinks girl. How can you beat that?

I haven't watched much of "Lost" but it HAS to beat the stuffing out of "Alias". For Kranny: In the words of the Comic Book Guy...

"Biggest Shark Jump...EVER."

Man, we haven't watched regularly since SD6 went down at the end of the second season.

Anyway, as far as "worth watching", and keeping in mind that we only get 2 1/2 channels (ABC, NBC, & Fuzzy Fox) we have found "Crossing Jordan" (Crime / Mystery Drama centered around the Boston City Morgue;9pm CST NBC) to be a bit of a clever, artistic, alternative to the usual "ER" & "LAW & ORDER: Five nights a week" pablum that is normally aired.

...of course, the best option is a good game of Whist around the dining room table.

Or Blogging...

I like Whist! I miss that game..

And, yeah, Alias sucks. Stupid show...I haven't seen Crossing Jordan yet.

I think you have the longest comment ever..

I don't really have time to watch TV... I used to watch LOST with Brooke last season after church (she records it every Wednesday). I haven't seen any of the new stuff, but I'm very curious! I don't think I watch anything on TV! So if there was something worth watching, I'd probably watch that. Gosh my brain must be dead. The only other show that comes to mind is King of the Hill, though I don't feel comfortable advocating it. Sorry for my lack of input on this one.

I like King of the Hill! It's not to bad. That's a show that we watch if we're around. We used to watch Simpson's but the new ones totally suck.

It definitely is the only thing worth watching in the world. It has everything.. Romance, Action, Mystery. WHAT COULD ANYONE ELSE ASK FOR?

Dear Jill-
In a few years you might enjoy Super Nanny! (ha ha -couldn't resist!)
I've enjoyed watching that show on Tuesday nights at 8- can't remember the name of it but it stars Gina DAvis as the president. Although I think ABC has some secret plot to mess with next presediental election in 2 years using this show. For now I enjoy it.
I think it's funny as I'm typing this- Larry watching Alias- although I don't know what he thinks of it.

I must be honest. I have never seen "Crossing Jordan", "Lost", "Alias" or "Commander and Chief". I just don't buy into the popular shows. I do like SportsCenter. But if I had to pick one of those shows to watch I'd side with Mike & Jenni. "Prison Break" does appeal to me.

And Jenny Clair, I've had the same suspicion since I saw the first commercial for it.
