Happy Day After

I had a picture of the Parents drinking out of these gynormous coffee mugs but I lost it somewhere between my computer and my camera. Instead, I'll show this picture from last year's tree day. We'll be doing this in a few weeks except instead of a forest we'll get our tree from a Wal-Mart parking lot or box.

One brother and one Bennie. Very cute.

Aaron thinks our tree has to many decorations. I think you can never have enough.

Today I ate 5 turkey sandwiches. 5! As I was eating my 5th, I asked Aaron if he was going to have one in hopes of him making me another. Eating more the day after Thanksgiving is probably not a good thing. That's ok because I'm eating for two.

Getting the Kid in Bed

Aaron: Bennie, kennel!

Bennie: Takes off running in hopes of getting behind the couch.

Me: Giggle...

A: Bennie!

B: Stops and looks. Than sees me sitting on the couch.

A: Get in the kennel now!

B: Jumps on the couch and sits on me. Looks at me with those puppy eyes. Do I have too?

Me: Giggle... It's ok Bennie. Go to bed.

B: Jumps down and goes to the kennel.

Aaron- 0, Bennie- 0, Me- 1.

It's a Win-Win-Win

Bennie: What was that noise? Who woke me up from my nap? Bark, bark, bark.

Bird: Sorry, for hitting your window. Please don't bark at me anymore.

Bennie: Ok, where'd he go? Bark, bark, bark.

The bird flies away and Bennie finds a hanky.

Forest Bunnies...

For all you crazy bunny lovers out there here's an update. I talked to my mom today and she told me what Brownie and Puppy have been up too. They leave the cage open so the bunnies can come and go. And they attached a maze of hay to the door so the bunnies can sleep in the hay at night.

She said that this morning Brownie was across the yard, Puppy came out to find him, and than Brownie ran really fast and knocked Puppy over. I have a feeling they love being able to be free instead of being stuck inside all day.
